Each year we reach out to our community on Giving Tuesday to help us make ends meet for the year.
We have expanded our program significantly this year to bring a variety of cultural experiences to the Chicago area. Highlights of the year include Estonian Ambassador Kristijan Prikk speaking at our independence day ceremony, holding a world-wide Estonian Language conference in May, Jaanipäev with musicians from Estonia in June, expanding our annual children’s summer camp in August, and a Christmas Party in December with “Ansambel Ma Ma” from Estonia. This is in addition to our Estonian School, Church, International Christmas Market, Folk Dancing, and movie nights.
The remodeling of our main hall has continued through 2023 with the updating of critical infrastructure and the stage area. The Jackob Viks designed structure was built by our members in the 1970’s and will begin to see additional facelifts during 2024. Please help support our continuing work and preserve our facility for future generations.
